President of Krav Maga Universal and 5th Degree Black Belt in Krav Maga. He was among the first group to become a licensed instructor in 1997 in the USA. He was the first person from this group to become a "Train the Trainer" instructor and the first to receive his Krav Maga Black Belt. He was formerly Head of the Advisory Board for Krav Maga Worldwide and has trained with top Krav Maga instructors from all over the world including advanced training and certification in Israel. He is a Sixth Degree Balck Belt in Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido, a Black Belt in Goju-Kai, Combat Karate, and Judo and holds an advanced Brown Belt in Aikido. Ernie Kirk is a Certified Contact Weapon Defense and Control Instructor. He has trained Army Rangers, US Air Force personnel, police departments from around the US, UK and Colombia, SWAT teams, Home Land Security, Federal Air Marshals, Secret Service, and the Tactical Officers Association. He is a Department of Defense certified instructor for pre-deployment training, as well as a Wingate Institute senior instructor and USA representative to the Wingate Institute in Israel.
Paul Landreth Smith
Paul is a Third Degree Black Belt in Krav Maga. He is also a senior Black Belt in Kickboxing and Tae Kwon-Do, as well as advanced rank in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Aikido. He has 18 years of Law Enforcement experience including with the London Counter Terrorist SWAT unit SOC19. Paul is currently a Texas Personal Protection Officer and Paramedic as well as a Firearms Instructor.
Tom holds a Third Degree Black Belt in Krav Maga, as well as being a former Golden Gloves Boxer. Mr. Whitaker now trains competitive fighters and teaches Krav Maga daily at his facility. He travels around the country training other instructors through Krav Maga Universal.
Anne is a Black Belt in Krav Maga. She is the Director of Women’s Self Protection for Krav Maga Universal. She has pioneered a Women’s Self Protection program teaching women from 4 to 84 that they are worth protecting. Anne is a certified Krav Maga instructor with Krav Maga Universal and a graduate of Wingate Institutes Krav Maga program in Israel. She has been asked to lead Women’s Self Defense Seminars throughout the United States, as well as invited as an instructor to teach men and women how to use the body’s structure to improve self defense training. Anne has a vast background in body mechanics and movement. She earned her BA in Dance in 2004 (Goucher College), and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010 (Temple University). Anne has continued her study of human movement becoming certified in Selective Functional Movement Systems, Barefoot Training, and Kettlebell coaching through Strong First. Anne assists local law enforcement and military with scenario based training, practices Physical Therapy, and facilitates advancements and improvements in self defense education. Anne is also one of the core instructors for numerous International Krav Maga Camps where she teaches alongside former Special Forces, professional fighters, and Counter Terrorism professionals from the USA, Israel, UK and Italy. Most recently, Anne was honored to accept a position on the board of directors for The American Women's Self Defense Association.
